Get ready for the Summer of a lifetime at Henry’s Place! We offer FREE camp for those who usually wouldn’t get the chance to experience joy of camp. Join us for a week of adventures, laughter, leadership, teamwork, and memorable challenges. Every moment is designed to lift your spirit and ignite your faith.

Check Out Our Camps
Who?
Our first-year SPUR CAMPS are offered to 6th and 7th grade boys and girls growing up in low-income homes, in families where one or both birth-parents are not living in the home, and/or in high-crime areas.  If you meet this criteria, you qualify to go to our FREE camps.  Not sure if you qualify?  Contact us and we’ll help you find out.

We have follow-on camps (D-Camp, Vector, and Forge) for those who have already attended a Henry’s Place camp.  Click on the “Check Out Our Camps” button above to learn more.

What?
Games, swimming, archery, camp skills instruction, challenge course, horseback rides, campfire skits and songs, hiking, crafts, “Roundup” faith lessons, and the Henry’s Place “Super Secret Mission”.  Watch the video linked above to see what it’s like!
When?
ALL CAMPS – pickup will be on Monday morning in Las Vegas during the week of camp.  For campers from southern Utah, we will make specific transportation arrangements.

Where?
Our camp programs are conducted at Henry’s Place with excursions to other places in the Cedar City area
How Much?
Our camps cost the campers nothing!!  They are entirely funded by our generous donors.
You Are A Christian Camp. What If I'm Not Religious?

No problem!  Our goal is to provide a fun and challenging week at camp.  We want you to learn lessons that benefit you in life, regardless of your religious beliefs.  We’ll share what we believe.  If you agree, great!  If not, no pressure…we’re here to show you God loves you, not to force you into anything.

I'm a Concerned Parent/Guardian: How Safe and Secure Is Your Camp?

This world we live in can be crazy, and we understand your concern and want to reassure you that our whole mission is to positively impact kids…so we’ll take care of your loved one!  Here are some things that should help set your mind at ease:

  • All staff are vetted with criminal background checks
  • Staff undergo robust training in how to care for your child physically, mentally, and spiritually
  • We follow industry best-practices to ensure the welfare of your child (e.g. our staff will never be alone one-on-one with your child)
  • Each week we have an appointed “camp nurse” to administer medications and help with illness or injury
  • We have first-aid trained staff, first aid supplies, and even an AED that goes with us when we do camp activities
  • We have been certified as an approved service provider for Clark County DFS and DJJS
  • We have been running camp programs since 2016, and we have an unbroken record of keeping our campers safe!
