Open to ALL Angel Tree Kids AND kids living in the same household ages 11-13. Henry’s Place offers FREE summer camps for those that wouldn’t normally have a chance to go to camp.  All of our camps combine fun activities, leadership and teamwork, physical challenges, and Christ-centered instruction to provide campers with an awesome summer camp experience.

Henry’s Place is located 15 miles southwest of Cedar City, UT, at 3542 Bumblebee Drive (Click for map).  Our camp programs are conducted at Henry’s Place with excursions to other places in the Cedar City area.

Our camps cost the campers nothing!!  They are entirely funded by our generous donors.

No problem!  Our goal is to provide a fun and challenging week at camp.  We want you to learn lessons that benefit you in life, regardless of your religious beliefs.  We’ll share what we believe.  If you agree, great!  If not, no pressure…we’re here to show you God loves you, not to force you into anything.

This world we live in can be crazy, and we understand your concern and want to reassure you that our whole mission is to positively impact kids…so we’ll take care of your loved one!  Here are some things that should help set your mind at ease:

  • All staff are vetted with local and federal criminal background checks
  • Staff undergo robust training in how to care for your child physically, mentally, and spiritually
  • We follow industry best-practices to ensure the welfare of your child (e.g. our staff will never be alone one-on-one with your child)
  • Each week we have an appointed “camp nurse” to administer medications and help with illness or injury
  • We have first-aid trained staff, first aid supplies, and even an AED that goes with us when we do camp activities
  • We have been certified as an approved service provider for Clark County DFS and DJJS
  • This is our 9th year of conducting camp, and we have an unbroken record of keeping our campers safe!

Still concerned?  Call us or join one of our Zoom webinars…we’re confident we can put your mind at ease.
